The strong Aussie dollar remains a cloud on the horizon for Australia's tourism operators. New research by the Tourism and Transport Forum (TTF) has found the industry sees better times ahead, staying optimistic for the fourth straight quarter, but any pick-up is expected to be slow. * The outlooks for domestic, international and overall tourism are all at neutral levels for the first time since the survey began in October 2008, the latest edition of the TTF-MASTERCARD Sentiment Survey found. * TTF executive director Brett Gale's reading of the figures is that a rebound in activity will be gradual.
